DH Land sought planning permission for conversion of a number of agricultural barns and modernisation of the Grade II Listed Farmhouse at Hollins Grove Farm, Easingwold, North Yorshire. This scheme includes the application of Class Q permitted development rights.
Class Q is a form of permitted development which was introduced in 2014 and allows the change of use of certain buildings from agriculture to residential use.
This site gained planning permission in May 2020 for the renovation of the listed farmhouse and the conversion of four of the barns under Class Q permitted development in addition to the permission to convert two of the traditional barn buildings into dwellings which was approved earlier.
The barns with planning permission for six dwellings were sold to Galtres Developments in November 2020.
